Improving service friendliness

Newsletter newsletter

After discontinuing the previous newsletter, we received numerous emails asking us to offer this service again - in a slimmed-down form. We have done so and from now on you can be informed about new contributions. Please send us a corresponding mail request.

The final touch

Even though Médoc actif had worked reasonably well with mobile devices, there were still a number of improvements that were recommended, not only for the performance of the website (compression of control files, adaptation to screen variants, etc.), but also for usability on smartphones and tablets. However, we were technically overburdened for the revision of these details, but in view of the constant changes (e.g. in search engines, we still wanted to stay up to date), who could help us?

newsletter

Today, hardly anyone works with pure HTML and CSS (we still do!). Most websites are produced with a CMS (content management system) nowadays. So the anxious question was: Would we find someone who could help us with HTML and CSS? We searched Google for an offer - and we found one right away. A young start-up company near Ulm - Sichtbär - was able to offer us the help of an employee who was willing to familiarise himself with our rather complex web installation, and at a reasonable price.

In this way, we established an extremely nice contact with the company and the employee, who responded to all our wishes competently and promptly. Not visible to laymen, but crucial for us: errors were eliminated, layout corrections made and structural simplifications realised.

Many thanks Jakob and Aidan!
